Aqua_Production_Data

Aqua Production Dataset provides sampling measurements of crucial production KPIs indicators during the fish growing life-cycle. The dataset contains the following attributes:
  • Company – the name of the aquaculture company
  • Site – the name of the region where the cages are located
  • Latitude, Longitude – the geographical location of the site
  • Species – name of fish specie
  • Start_Date, End_Date – the dates of the period between two successive samplings
  • StartAvgWeight, EndAvgWeight – the fish average weight at the begin and the end of the sampling period
  • StartFishNo, EndFishNo – the number of fish in the cage at the begin and the end of the sampling period
  • AvgTemperature – average sea temperature over the sampling period
  • Biol_FCR – Biological Feed Conversion Rate, which is calculated from the number of kilograms of feed used to produce one kilogram of fish, measured at the end of the sampling period
  • MortalityRate – ratio of dead fishes at the end of the sampling period
  • SFR – Suggested Feed Ratio, which indicates the quantity of feed given to the fishes over the period, measured at the end of the sampling period
  • SGR – Specific Growth Rate, which indicates the growth of the fish in a particular period, measured at the end of the sampling period

RAM

RAM (RAM Legacy Stock Assessment Database) provides information exclusively on the fish stocks domain. It is a compilation of stock assessment results and time series of stock status indicators for commercially exploited marine populations from around the world. The assessments are assembled from 21 national and international management agencies for approximately one thousand stocks. The dataset is available in XML format (https://goo.gl/JgHMNY i), in Ms Excel format (https://goo.gl/rlgl9v) and in RDF format through the SPARQL endpoint (found in the Blue-Datathon VRE).

FishSource

FishSource compiles and summarizes publicly available scientific and technical information about the status of fish stocks and fisheries. It includes information about the health of stocks, the quality of their management, and the impact of fisheries on the rest of the ecosystem. It is mainly exploited from seafood industry for assisting in taking the appropriate actions for improving the sustainability of the purchased seafood. The dataset is available in XML format (https://goo.gl/IwYVpp), in JSON format (https://goo.gl/2kYAfj), and in RDF format through the SPARQL endpoint (found in the Blue-Datathon VRE).

MarineTLO-based warehouse

MarineTLO-based warehouse is a warehouse which integrates data coming from FishBase, WoRMS, Ecoscope, FAO and DBpedia. It contains information about marine species, ecosystems, water areas, vessels, etc. The dataset is available in RDF format (https://goo.gl/Yig74K ) and through the SPARQL endpoint (found in the Blue-Datathon VRE).

Aquamaps

AquaMaps Species Distribution Maps are D4cience Geoserver hosted layers. The datasets are OGC Compliant and can be accessed through OGC Services , Openlayers, KML, GML. (https://i-marine.d4science.org/group/biodiversitylab/geo-visualisation)

FIRMS

FIRMS (Fisheries and Resources Monitoring System) provides access to a wide range of high-quality information on the global monitoring and management of stocks and fisheries. It collects data from 14 intergovernmental organizations (that are partners of FIRMS) and contains information on the status of more than 600 stocks and 300 fisheries. The dataset is available in XML format (https://goo.gl/jK0vP2) and in RDF format through the SPARQL endpoint (found in the Blue-Datathon VRE).

AquaFishGradingData

AquaFish-Grading Dataset provides measurements regarding the cultivated fish characteristics, such as its weight and length. Specifically, each fish passed from one of the two graders and its weight and height automatically measured and recorded. Each one of the graders is supplied with 20 gates. The dataset contains 1375769 entries and 9 attributes which indicate the unique id of the fish (id), the id of the cage (Cage), the id of the grader, the measured fish weight and length, the id of the gate, the recorded date/time, the name of the fish species and its weight category.

Aqua-Alert

Aqua-Alert Dataset provides information regarding the diseases occurrence in aquaculture companies in Greek region. It contains 3018 entries of occurrences recording the starting date (StartDate) in which the disease appears in the fish population of particular fish weight class (MinWeight, MaxWeight), the description of the diseases (primal and secondary) and the kind of fish species. Moreover, the attributes IsCompleted and EndDate indicate whether the phenomenon has expired, takes the value 1 otherwise is equal to zero, and when (date). In addition, it provides the mortality percentage, the name of the region that aquafarm locates and the danger gradation.

Species Occurrence data

BiodiversityLab Species Occurrence data can be described as D4cience data access to GBIF, OBIS. They can be accessed through the Biodiversity Lab VRE and save occurrences as CSV and Darwin Core formats.
